At $4 for a small can, I almost never tried one of these… but I’m glad I did!
These “double shots” were very useful during college when I had to pull all-nighters on term papers. They were the only thing that would jolt me awake.
Due to the caffeine rush and the high price, I only used these on special occasions. But when I did use one (or four,) it always gave me the boost I needed.
Plus, they taste amazing!

Starbucks Double Shot espresso is a useful product for those who need a real energy kick. The black can is powered with 116mg of caffeine content which can make you stay awake whole night. It was helpful for me during my examination time. The taste is like fresh espresso coffee. However it won’t taste like the fresh brewed coffee but still strong enough. I still drink it off and on. And I would suggest a cold serving than warm. One standard Can, of 6.5 oz can serve 140 calories of energy. I would recommend this drink to young people aged 15-25.

It seems we can all agree that this drink tastes great! Getting past the incredibly high price tag (I believe its $4.49 here); there’s actually an awesome product. I grabbed this at the corner store thinking “wow – Starbucks!” since I’ve never actually had Starbucks (small town) and I have to say, this is yummy!
I would actually prefer if they made this with less caffeine because the kick, at least for me, is too severe. I enjoy the taste so much I’ll end up throwing away more money to demolish a few more cans…and then the crash! And I’m a big baby when I crash!

In a word – awesome! In another word – expensive! Just like Starbucks itself the drink tastes pretty good – not as nice as a hot double espresso in store but nowhere near as bad as instant. And at the same time you’re left feeling a little light in the pocket because this is Starbucks after all and that stuff doesn’t come cheap, so like Eli above I keep these for a bit of a special caffeine treat when I don’t fancy either a hot coffee or a carbonated caffeine drink.

Honestly have to give fives across the board on this one. I drank the first one yesterday morning on my way to work and although pricey in the conveinent store, it was delicious and packed a punch when it came to caffene content! I purchased a 4 pack at target for about 1.40 per can so this was a deal! I spent about as much on the 4 pack as i would in one trip to starbucks! I loved the taste too; I am not one to put a bunch of crap in my coffee so the strong coffee taste was plesant! RECOMMENDED!
