Taste - it was awesome! It had a very fruity taste, like fruit punch. Way better than comparable drinks like Red Bull and Monster. I was hoping for a big boost from the 16oz can, but you know what, it was disappointing. I was setting out for a long drive across the state and didn't feel too bad at first. Then I got a little tired, so I gradually consumed the entire can of Rockstar. I stayed awake for a few hours till I got home, but I think I was half asleep. Granted, I was pretty exhausted before, but nothing extreme. So I was hoping for at least a little boost. But I felt very little, and fell asleep early that night. I'll try Rockstar again since it tastes great, but for now, I can't say much for the kick. I tried a Rockstar for the first time last night. Taste – it was awesome! It's a bubbly drink, but it's not super strong, so that's good. Monster can sometimes burn a bit, so the change was nice. Rockstar isn't very sweet, and I like that a lot. It's mildness is rather pleasant. Even though this drink boasts of a pretty big energy kick, it doesn't live up to the hype. Now, it does give a nice kick when you need it, but nothing extreme. If I need a little more energy to help me through the rest of my work day, then I'll down a Rockstar. It's got just the right amount of boost to help me when I need it. As far as the price goes, I don't mind shelling out the money for it either. This drink reminds me a little of the Monster energy drink, but it tastes so so much better.
