  On those days that I find myself catching up on a lot of over-due work or taking up large assignments, I usually need something to keep me up and focused. My golden secret is the Rockstar double strength energy drink.

  First off, this energy drink tastes great. I got my wife to taste it and she disagreed strongly but she’s not into energy drinks, and I’ve grown addicted to the taste of Rockstar Double!

  The energy boost itself is usually enough to keep me up all night. Sometimes I’ll dip in to a second can or a different energy source but generally speaking, Rockstar gets the job done. If anyone’s looking for a no fun, get right down to business type of energy drink – go with the Rockstar Double Strength!

  This drink reminds me a little of the Monster energy drink, but it tastes so so much better. It’s a bubbly drink, but it’s not super strong, so that’s good. Monster can sometimes burn a bit, so the change was nice. Rockstar isn’t very sweet, and I like that a lot. It’s mildness is rather pleasant.
  Even though this drink boasts of a pretty big energy kick, it doesn’t live up to the hype. Now, it does give a nice kick when you need it, but nothing extreme.
  If I need a little more energy to help me through the rest of my work day, then I’ll down a Rockstar. It’s got just the right amount of boost to help me when I need it.
  As far as the price goes, I don’t mind shelling out the money for it either.

  I tried a Rockstar for the first time last night. Taste – it was awesome! It had a very fruity taste, like fruit punch. Way better than comparable drinks like Red Bull and Monster.

  I was hoping for a big boost from the 16oz can, but you know what, it was disappointing. I was setting out for a long drive across the state and didn’t feel too bad at first. Then I got a little tired, so I gradually consumed the entire can of Rockstar. I stayed awake for a few hours till I got home, but I think I was half asleep.

  Granted, I was pretty exhausted before, but nothing extreme. So I was hoping for at least a little boost. But I felt very little, and fell asleep early that night.

  I’ll try Rockstar again since it tastes great, but for now, I can’t say much for the kick.
