At first I was thinking, "hey, it's kind of fruity and then has that 'bite' to it." But then I realized it tastes kind of like cough syrup! It has a thick cough syrup texture too. I'm not expecting good flavor from an energy shot, but I've had much better tasting shots than this thing! (That said, I'd be willing to drink another one.) The energy boost hits fast. Before I even finished sipping the shot, I could feel an uplifting feeling coming over me. It was pretty cool - it got me energized and focused very quickly. The energy lasted a while. It kept me going through the afternoon and evening. Although strong at first, I can't see the kick lasting all day long, but maybe half the day. Overall I gave this three stars since there are other energy shots that taste better and work just as well. Monster Hitman isn't a bad one to try though. An interesting taste.
