I like it better than most of the other energy drinks out there, but it's not the best. It tastes a bit like medicine with a hint of alcohol, but it's good overall. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes for me to actually feel the effects of the drink, but when it kicks in, I know it's working. I really drink Monster just because it's there for me to buy, but I can always use the energy when I'm feeling sluggish. Most of the time, I pick one up from the convenience store when I take my evening jog. I drink it, and keep on going! Monster is good for the energy and the price is fair, I just wish it tasted a little bit better. Monster is a decent energy drink, I’d say. The thing was freaking huge! I thought it would be $10 just to buy it but it wasn't "that" bad. Looking beyond that, the Monster energy drink has a taste that's enjoyable. Usually I think "If you enjoy it, it's not really working!", but the kick did hit. My main concern is the amount of liquid needed to make that hit though as a tiny can from a different company can easily match the strength of a huge Monster can. Monster kicks ass on the first one. It’s available in a bunch of flavours and each of them are actually really quite nice – a far cry from some other products out there. The kick it provides is nothing special but if you’re anything like me you’ll enjoy the stuff a lot more if you can actually drink it without wanting to throw up! Plus as its a flavour I like I find myself drinking 2 one after another.
