Have tried a large number of products for recovery from practice, workouts, and exercise. The taste of FRS is much better than most of the products and is not too sweet. You body is not as sore afterward and the next day.
It seems to provide an increased energy level after taking for a few days. You ar feeling ready to go, not run down and beaten.
Same price as other cans and bottles of energy drinks.

Two key ingredients in FRS are sucralose and caffeine. Two proven energy boosters not mentioned in the marketing.
If you want the “healthy energy” benefits, save your money and get quercetin capsules – the supposed active ingredient in FRS – directly and much more cheaply from a reputable company not FRS. Despite what the company says the science is not clear that quercetin is beneficial anyway – it may have some benefits as an antioxidant which is why I take one pill of it a day but this is more in hope than expectation.
To be fair, it tastes good, so that part gets four stars.

FRS Healthy Energy works quite well for me as an endurance athlete. Rather than taking it when I need a boost, I take it each morning and I can function well all day, even after a strenuous workout. I still get sore and worn out (it’s not so much a performance enhancer for me,) but I can function the rest of the day rather than lay in bed exhausted.
The cans are convenient and the reason I buy them is for the natural lemon lime flavor. I can’t get enough of this stuff! It’s not a delicacy, but there’s something interesting about it that I like. Orange is also good, and going purely on taste, I even like the low cal wild berry.
Problem with the cans is that they’re like $3 each.
