What does ths taste like? It's like tea with a little fruit flavor and a lot of bitterness. Well not too bitter for an energy drink, but it seems bitters because the tea base is real sweet.

It packs a punch though. This can had me pretty jazzed up!!

After seeing this funky can at Big Lots for over a month straight, I decided to plunk down the 70 cents and try one. I'm not sure of the regular price, but 70 cents is a steal for an energy drink (especially considering the 300mg caffeine in one can!)

Health-wise, this is nothing I plan to drink regularly. While it's based on green tea, it's loaded with sugar. In the form of high fructose corn syrup, no less.

As for the taste, it was OK. Since I love real, fresh brewed green tea, I usually scoff at the crappy taste of green tea energy drinks, and this was no exception. It wasn't too bad though. It tastes like sugary green tea (as with any other Arizona tea) with added pomegranate flavor.

The kick is unexpected though! It's pretty crazy. It's a big boost that you wouldn't expect from a green tea energy drink! That is, until you read the label and see the whopping 300mg of caffeine in there!
